Ten days later, the emotion is still there… Thank you all for this incredible day!
14 boats, 200 participants, and over €8,000 raised to support ocean research.
Thank you to everyone for your energy, your smiles, and your commitment.
We look forward to seeing even more of you next year to sail with us!
Thank you Jérome Brousse for the video.
1 ocean. Hundreds of ideas to protect it.
1 ocean. Hundreds of ideas to protect it.
The 7th Pure Ocean call for projects is now closed, and we want to send a huge thank you to everyone who applied.
Once again this year, research teams submitted projects marked by remarkable creativity and scientific rigor.
With each edition, we are moved to see how the global scientific community rallies for the ocean.
With each application we read, one conviction grows stronger: the solutions exist.
If only we could fund you all…
Behind every application is a brilliant idea, an innovation, a concrete solution to protect life.
👉 Companies, these projects are ready, brilliant, and their teams are eager to take action. What they lack are the resources to make it happen.
You can be part of this journey: support research with Pure Ocean, and together let’s turn these brilliant ideas into real solutions to protect life.

Mission coral: saving one of the planet’s most precious marine treasures.
Mission coral: saving one of the planet's most precious marine treasures.
In Raja Ampat, Indonesia, coral reefs are still biodiversity gems… but they are under threat.
Mickael Racine, a PhD student in marine ecology at Planète Mer / University of Montpellier, closely monitors the restoration of these reefs alongside local communities.
With the Yaf Keru Impacts project, he analyzes coral health, fish diversity, and the impact on local populations, demonstrating that protecting reefs also ensures food security for the inhabitants.
👉 A dive into a unique ecosystem, where science and communities work hand in hand.
A new duo of committed ambassadors!
Pure Ocean is proud to welcome a new duo of committed ambassadors!
Audrey Ogereau & Erwan Le Roux, skippers on Ocean Fifty, combine experience and passion to defend our ocean.
Audrey, a mechanical engineer and Olympic sailor, grew up on the water and has an unending thirst for challenges. As European Hobie Cat 16 vice-champion and Women’s America’s Cup competitor, she brings energy, technical expertise, and boldness to this exceptional duo.
Erwan, two-time winner of the Route du Rhum and multiple winner of the Transat Jacques Vabre, is an iconic figure in ocean racing. With an outstanding track record, he embodies performance, mentorship, and commitment.
Together, they are more than just a team: they represent a powerful human adventure, driven by a common goal – to push their limits while raising awareness about the urgent need to protect the ocean.
A look back at the 24H Pure Ocean!
What an unforgettable day!
Wind, sunshine, smiles, sharing… and above all, a wave of energy for the ocean.
All day long, 14 boats sailed around the Frioul Archipelago with a single goal: to celebrate ocean conservation and delight our participants, because we know,
“We love what has amazed us, and we protect what we love.” J.-Y. Cousteau
Thanks to you, over €8,000 was raised to support marine scientific research.
200 times THANK YOU
to all the participants,
to our loyal sponsors who joined us with their families,
to the skippers who welcomed passengers all day, sharing their passion and love for the sea,
to Ambre Papazian for leading the yoga session,
to the Running Club des Catalans for plogging, collecting 19 kg of waste while running along the promenade,
and to everyone who made this day possible: our ambassador Ludovic Gérard, the UNM club, the UNM restaurant, Monsieur Bob, Yohan Brandt for the photos, and Jérôme Brousse for the videos.
What a joy to receive your energy, smiles, and unwavering support.
You are living proof that the ocean brings people together.

Additives, antibiotics, drugs, microplastics carry more than just plastic.

Investigation: what if their hidden effects are more dangerous than we think?
Rafael Trevisan, a postdoctoral researcher in marine ecotoxicology at LEMAR (Université de Bretagne Occidentale), is on the case.
His goal is to understand how plastic particles become true “pollutant rafts” and what consequences this has… all the way to our plates.
With PlastiDrugs, he aims to provide solid scientific evidence to help policymakers tackle this invisible yet formidable pollution.
👉 A pioneering effort supported by Pure Ocean, protecting both the ocean and our health.
What if seaweed could regenerate the ocean… and our economies?

Big news: Pure Ocean is unveiling its second documentary, Flor do Mar.
Following Hidden Secret (2024), this new Pure Ocean Documentary highlights a concrete response to the ocean’s urgent challenges.
Flor do Mar tells the story of Meire, a researcher at the Bonfarto Kaj Konservado Institute (BKK), and Angela, a Brazilian seaweed farmer, who lead a visionary project: Regen Ocean Farms.
Winner of the 2024 Pure Ocean call for projects, Regen Ocean Farms demonstrates the potential of seaweed cultivation. A simple yet powerful solution that allows to:
Restore marine ecosystems
Create a resilient local economy
Provide a sustainable alternative to overfishing and pollution
Behind this project lies an inspiring model of economic transition, scientific innovation, and female leadership.
Seaweed becomes a lever to develop future solutions – bioplastics, methane-reducing feed additives, agricultural biostimulants – opening the way to a new blue economy.
Directed by Zekefilm, the incredible duo Roxane Perrot & Ugo Isoard, who know how to put emotion front and center. A huge thank you to them.
Flor do Mar is more than a documentary: it’s a message of hope and proof that taking action for the ocean is possible.
Premiere: December 3, 2025 – Nuit de l’Océan, at Banque Populaire Méditerranée, Avenue du Prado.

DARE to speak your truth on Europe’s biggest business stage!
DARE to speak your truth on Europe’s biggest business stage!
That’s exactly what David, our President and Founder, did when he had the honor of speaking on the main stage at BIG, Europe’s largest business gathering dedicated to entrepreneurship and innovation, organized by BPI France.
For seven minutes, in front of thousands of business leaders, David opened his heart about his entrepreneurial journey, sharing the challenges, failures, victories, and lessons learned over the years.
A powerful message: when entrepreneurship meets passion, it becomes a lever for impact on the planet.
Among the top speakers at this exceptional event, David reminded everyone that behind every successful company are people who believe in their mission.
A memorable moment that perfectly illustrates our mission: turning passion into concrete actions to protect marine ecosystems.
