In the trail of the scientists who seek to unravel the mysteries of the Mediterranean canyons, the Calanques National Park and the French Office of Biodiversity introduced us to this still largely unknown universe.
Only a few kilometers from our coasts, many underwater canyons carve deep cuts in the rock of which we still haven’t discovered the secrets.
The canyons are a privileged place of biological mixing and biodiversity: white corals, gorgonians, carnivorous sponges, large cetaceans… Many more species are yet to be discovered.
This interactive and immersive exhibition questions the impact of human activities on these ecosystems and displays many solutions to protect these treasures of the Mediterranean.
