Dans le cadre de son développement, le fonds de dotation Pure Ocean a choisi, après Marseille,
Lorient comme deuxième port d’attache. Créé en 2017 par l’entrepreneur marseillais David
Sussmann, Pure Ocean soutient des projets de recherche océanique innovants, dans le monde
entier, pour la préservation de la biodiversité et les écosystèmes marins fragiles.
