La deuxième année comptable du Fonds de dotation Pure Ocean a démarré par un confinement national, qui ne fut que le début d’une crise sanitaire qui a bouleversé le monde. Face à cette situation exceptionnelle, Pure Ocean a dû s’adapter tout au long de l’année, parfois même en temps réel.
Malgré ce contexte inédit, le Fonds a pu compter sur le soutien de ses partenaires et a ainsi pu maintenir un haut niveau de ressources.
Entre 2018 et 2020, le nombre de candidatures à l’appel à projets a été plus que multiplié par deux, et le Fonds ne cesse d’accroître sa notoriété : des scientifiques du monde entier se pressent pour répondre à nos appels à projets. Début 2021, quatre nouveaux projets ont été sélectionnés portant à 10 le nombre de projets scientifiques soutenus par Pure Ocean.
Dans cette belle dynamique, l’équipe Pure Ocean aborde cette nouvelle année d’aventures et de projets avec sérénité et détermination.
