The polar regions are warming faster than any other area on Earth. Over the past 30 years, the temperature in the Arctic has risen three times faster than the Earth’s average (already +3.1\u00b0C).<\/span><\/p>\n Temperatures are rising so fast that the Arctic may have no sea ice left in the summer by 2035.<\/span><\/p>\n And yet, ice and snow help limit global warming! The white colour of the sea ice reflects the sun’s rays, while the blue of the ocean turns them into heat!
